Abstract : Microderm abrasion is a technique for improving skin permeability by selectively removing the stratum corneum. Slash depth is determined by the patient's needs. It's a boon for drugs with high molecular weights like peptides, insulin, and vaccines. The epidermis is not completely removed in this method. Transcutaneous immunization via topical influenza vaccine delivery was discovered by scientists. Outer skin barriers can be controlled with mild chemical and/or physical treatments such as ethanol–water hydration and stripping, allowing large vaccine molecules or even particulate antigens to reach the skin's immune cells.
