Abstract : Depending upon the sign of permittivity and permeability, metamaterials are broadly classified into artificial dielectric, artificial magnetics and left handed materials. Chiral metamaterials are also the type of metamaterial which lacks mirror symmetry in its structure. All these types of metamaterial are discussed in detail below
