Abstract : Driven by the rural contribution, Inspired by mud houses, the fall-winter 2021 ready to wear collection celebrate the backbone of the country. It questions the real need of the world and challenges consumer behaviour.
Kacha Makan, Mud House, is a building made of natural materials such as mud, grass, bamboo, thatch or sticks and is, therefore, a short-lived structure. Since it is not made for endurance it requires constant maintenance and replacement. The practical limitations of the building materials available dictate the specific form which can have a simple beauty. And Mud, itself is used differently at different places. Some create walls, some create cutlery. Its versatility is its key.
